Re: need recovery cd

If you have an SATA hard drive, you need to load the drivers
when the Windows install CD is booting up (aka the "F5" step)
using a floppy.

The other option is to run the drive in IDE compatible mode, if
you can't figure out the SATA drivers thing.  Just go into the
BIOS and see if there is a setting you can change for the SATA
controller.
