Thanks for mentioning Anitec, I got what I wanted there.
You missed my mention of the FW (firewire) requirement, they have a nice
AL FW/USB ATA case for $40.
I would have bought the 250GB HD, but they don't stock it so I settled
for a 160GB Seagate. This will be more than enough space as it's a both
a backup and non critical file storage for a YR2000 iMac that has a
"huge" 20GB internal HD.
It's for a senior on a budget, she'll probably get a new Mac in 2 or 3
years. Then the external will be just for backup of critical files.
Hadn't been in Anitec before, I'll go again because it's a very well
organized computer shop with good prices.
