I don't know where you are in NY, but Bruce Hill Yacht Sales has two older

Sabre 30's listed. He's in Vt on Lake Champlain. It's a very beautiful
ferry 
ride across the lake from NY to Vt this time of year.

BHYS is a reputable dealer/broker that has been around for years. Chances 
are the boats he's offering have spent most of their lives in freshwater.
He 
was a Sabre dealer for many years.

Pay the OP no mind. We bought our first sailboat after sailing on a 45' 
schooner and knew $hit about it. Learned in a hurry. Enjoy and I hope you
