58cm Alpine Designs custom road frameset, True Temper OX Platinum
tubing, Weyless carbon fork with 1-1/8 inch alloy steerer and Cane
Creek S-2 headset. This frame was designed to provide a more upright
riding position with an extended headtube and sloping top tube.
Clearance for the chainrings is very tight on the chainring side,
resulting in a paint chip behind the chainrings from the initial
build. Otherwise the paint is in good condition.
Actual top tube length is 55cm (sloping), seat tube is 58cm center to
top of top tube, 52cm seat tube center to center, headtube is 200mm.
Includes Dura-Ace 9 speed double crankset and Ultegra bottom bracket,
and oversized Kalloy seatpost (30.2mm).
Great riding steel frame that retails for more than $1200 (without
fork or extras). Ultimately it wasn't quite what I needed which is why
it's now up for sale. If you're looking for a frame where you can
position the bars close to the same height as the saddle, this is the
one you need!
