Arms & Armor Annual Book by Robert Held, c. 1973



This book titled, (Arms and Armor Annual, Volume 1) is in excellent
condition.  It is a compliation of 30 articles on weaponry by the lading
arms and armor historians of the world.  It is edited by Robert Held.  The
book is published by Follett Publi****ng Company, Chicago, First Edition,
Copyright 1973.  The book is 320 pages and contains articles on
Wheellocks,
Crowbows, Japanese Sword Guards, European Armor, French Royal Armor,
Polish
Winged Hussars, Flintlock Pistols, English Swords (1600-1650), British
Naval
Uniforms, Trafalgar Swords, Boutet Firearms, Parker Field Gunmakers, Body
Armor of the American Civil War, Winchester Carbines, and more.  The
articles are written by well known authors to include, Harold Peterson,
Frederick Wilkinson, John Hayward, Claude Blair, Helmet Nickel, Graham
Gemmell, Fred Baer, and more.  The book is full of detailed photographs
and
descriptions of the topic articles.  The book is softbound and measures 8
1/2 inches x 11 inches.  The book is in excellent condition.  There are no
loose, torn or missing pages, no water damage or soiling, or any other
damage.
