Hi
I wonder if anyone can help to identify what type of table this is...
http://www.20xx20.myby.co.uk/photos.html
The images are in high resolution format so that you zoom in on the table
ie
once each pic has down loaded you'll notice your cursor will look like a
magnifier lens meaning you click on the pic and it will enlarge the pic
two
fold.
The description of the table is...
Lenght54" Wide17" Height27.5"
As you will see it needs some TLC to the Veneering but basically its in
good
condition.
Construction wise it well made and held together with four small coach
bolts
and various screws.
Coach bolts are situated in four inner corners.
The glass panel is beveled at the edges and does contain surface scratches
which are only noticable if you look at the glass side on.
I'm guessing this is between 1930 to 1950 hardly antique area I know but
I'm
trying to get a period it was made?
Comments I've had are...
An office board room side table pre 1930's?
A side table designed specifically for a large Victorian house's hallway?
A church rectorys hallway?
A table that was used in a large house whereby it was placed behind a
settee
in the middle of the room?
I would appreciate any info as to what date you think this is or a
specific
name for this type of table?
Is it worth putting on ebay?
Many thanks for any input
