Will pay $30 for just 5 minutes of using your inpsiron
5100/5150/5160/1100 to unlock my harddisk.
Other models might work as well (if they have Parallel ATA interface,
not SATA)
My Inspiron 5150 motherboard died (turns on but will not boot to
bios)
with my hard disk password protected. But the harddisk is ok and
works fine and re****ts its information correctly when connected to a
desktop.
Tried everything to unlock the harddisk but my own password won't
work
from any other computer (used ATAPWD and MHDD, harddisk is ok but
rejects the password). A tool on the internet that can unlock
most hard disks doesn't sup****t seagate laptop hard disks.
Apparently there is some kind of transformation on the password
that Dell customer sup****t know nothing about. The password must be
entered from the laptop BIOS to be accepted by the harddisk.
PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE help me gain access back to my data on the
harddisk. It is as simple
as taking the battery out, removing 2 screws, pulling your harddisk
out, putting my harddisk
in, puting the battery back in, booting to bios, entering my password
and disabling hard disk
password protection, then puting your hard disk back again (with
battery removed). Should be done in under 5 minutes. may be even 2
minutes.
Please call or reply with your "rent" offer (how much do you want for
this).

Thanks a lot
