I am selling an HP 5simx laser printer. It has an envelope feeder (that
can also hold 100 sheets of paper) which is tray 1, two 500 sheet paper
trays that are trays 2 and 3, and a fourth tray that holds 2000 pages.
It is in good working order except that tray number three does not work.
The envelope feeder works fine, tray number 2 and tray number 4 work
fine also. So, there is no problem printing with the remaining envelope
feeder and trays 2 and 4.
In its present condition it can hold and print to 2600 pages using trays
1,2 and 4 without having to add any paper.
I also have a spare HP5simx which can be used for parts. It is
presently missing the LED display panel which is in the main model due
to my having cracked the display a few years ago and I took the LED
display from the spare unit to use.
The printer has a JetDirect network card in it and I am currently
printing using that connection. It also has a parallel ****t connection.
It also has a built in duplexer for printing on boths sides of a sheet
of paper. It presently has 28672KB of RAM installed.
