Hello,
I think my HP L2335 has this technology embedded. The monitor is ultra
black, I can't see myself in it, ever.
Apperently this is achieved by a special coating which gives it a somewhat
glittering effect/crystalize effect.
I find it makes the picture look really bad, especially bright whites and
bright blues.
The funny part is I like "computering" in the dark. I always close the
windows and the luxaflex etc. I always have a lamp on even during the day.
So this technology would probably have been unnecessary for me. That's a
shame.
Here is a link to the patent describing the tech. Ofcourse I am not 100%
sure the HP L2335 has it, but it probably has it.

Sigh.
Anyway tomorrow I build my dream pc and connect it to a digital signal.
Maybe the quality will improve a little bit, it probably will, but not
enough probably :(
Expect a re****t tomorrow or the day after ;) lol.
Bye,
Skybuck.
