The Athlon TrueRide 5.0 suspension bike was created specifically for
you - the bicycling enthusiast. With a totally unique suspension
system, this bike creates an indoor cycling experience unlike any
other. You won't find a more lifelike training experience.
A four-point suspension system allows for comfort and serious
training. The rear suspension was added purely for a more comfortable
ride while the two side suspension points were designed for side to
side movement, replicating the feel of a real bike. With the ability
to feel the side to side motion of riding, you are able to train more
realistically - and specifically - than with a conventional bike.
Excessive side to side motion uses excess energy, causing fatigue. The
TrueRide 5.0 allows the rider to feel that side to side motion,
creating a training environment in which to stabilize the ride. This
is especially noticeable when sprinting. Stabilization leads to
greater efficiency, allowing you to maintain speed for a longer period
of time. You are free to adjust the resistance as needed to vary the
program you are using or to create an exercise program that meets your
specific needs.
This model has a lifetime warranty on the frame. Originally retailed
