Description: CSS Tec currently has a client in Berwyn, PA that is
looking to hire a full time Sr. Oracle Developer.
Basic Purpose: To manage and deliver the interface design, development,
testing and implementation process between our client and Oracle
applications. To research, manage and plan the growth of the on-going
technical relation****ps with Oracle Cor****ation. Ensure our client's
customers achieve successful implementation projects by delivering
standard interfaces and custom enhancements to satisfy their requirements.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Manage, deliver and develop interface - Follow methodologies to design,
develop and test interfaces to Oracle applications. Do***ent interface
capabilities and limitations for their knowledge base. Maintain
owner****p of interface knowledge transfer to internal and external
audiences. Define sup****t methodologies between our client and partners.
2. Maintain and advance existing relation****ps - Coordinate planning to
understand and forecast functional and technical requirements over the
life of an interface. Coordinate enhancements and new product
requirements with appropriate entities.
3. Participate in solutions delivery process during consultative
engagements by implementing systems and interfaces as well as
specifications and code for client specific customizations or
enhancements.
4. Maintain internal instance of Oracle Development Environment,
Integrations and Products for the purpose of demonstration and
development.
5. Assist Solution Selling Team in pre-sales technical sup****t with
prospects as necessary including custom setup within an instance of Oracle
Financials.
KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS
Education & Training:
• Four year degree in Computer Science or equivalent
• Minimum four years development experience with PL/SQL, Oracle Forms and
other relevant Oracle Application Development tools.
• Familiarity with XML or Java a plus
Specialized Knowledge & Skills
• Excellent oral, written, interpersonal, organizational, time management
and presentation skills.
• Working knowledge of Financial/Tax products a plus.
• Working knowledge of Oracle Financials eBusiness Suite especially
OM,A/R, Purchasing and Payables
• Working knowledge of Sales and Use Tax integrations to Oracle a plus.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Professional appearance and presentation required.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS
• Travel Required averaging 25-50%
