So are you seriously suggesting that Grey Nomads (and homeless people
for that matter), have access to a loop-hole in the law that allows
them to be exempt from paying rego and insurance? I think not. There
is absolutely no requirement whatsoever in this country to actually
LIVE at a residentual address. Many, many, many people live
permanently on the road - and they are as entitled to obtain
registration and insurance as the rest of us. As I pointed out
earlier, if you know the system, it can be actually cheaper to NOT
have a residential address.
