I am currently a powerseller on Ebay under two ID's - cobbie10 &
cobbiestamps.
Previously I have worked for a company where they send me stamp
collections
/ single items / sets etc. I work from home by breaking up the collections
then listing all the items on Ebay. For my time I take a 25% fee of the
final value fee. I also pay all Ebay and Paypal fees involved in the sale
-
so I usually end up with around 18 - 20% of the final sale value.
My employer no longer has any material for me to sell, so I am posting
this
in the hope that there may be someone out there who is either a Philatelic
Company with a large stock, or who is just a private collector with a
large
collection, that they wish to sell on Ebay.
As I've said, I work from home, and am willing to work 6 days a week if
necessary. I find that I can list around 40 lots a day in order for me to
be
comfortable with ****pping all my items in a timely manner. I take all
pictures myself, have a site where I upload my images to so that I can
show
anything from a couple of images to several hundred, depending on the size
of the lot involved. I keep all my own spreadsheets giving break downs of
lot numbers, starting price and prices realised.
I live in Maryland and will normally have material sent to me via UPS, but
I would be willing to collect material as long as I didn't have to travel
more than 75 miles from home to do so.
If you have an auction house in MD, near Baltimore, I would also consider
working away from home. Trans****tation is not a problem.
I am very reliable, honest and trustworthy. I've been selling on Ebay for
7
years and have previous experience working for both Stanley Gibbons and
Harmers auction houses in the UK back in the late 1980's.
