WHY THE FREE DVD OFFER?
Well, the main purpose in giving away the DVD for free is to encourage
singers to enter the on-line karaoke competition simply called - "Karaoke
Idol Online".
The website is presently going through its' final testing stages and will
be
fully functional in October 2005 if not sooner. The web address, along
with
your upload access password will be emailed once completed. Contestants
who
have the ability to record their best vocal performance(s) will be allowed
to post their mp3 song(s) in the password protected members only area..
Anyone visiting the Karaoke Online Idol website can listen to samples of
the
performances and vote by catagory online. The competition will run for one
year at a time, and is restricted to only those who request the free DVD
by
email. There is no personal data posted on the website aside from a
nickname
that is chosen by the singer for voters to refer to.
On December 1, 2006, the on-line votes will be calculated to determine the
best male, female, and duet/group. Winners are awarded a custom
karaoke/recording studio housed in a powerful Pentium 4 laptop computer.
In
addition, a $5000 demo-recording sesson will be awarded to the finalist
that
has earned the most votes overall.
Even those who do not submit a recording can win a lesser prize by random
draw, such as a Pioneer 101 disc CDG player filled with commercial karaoke
discs and more.
However, if the op****tunity to compete in a fun and rewarding amatuer
karaoke contest online is not of interest to you, you'll still have a full
blown Karaoke Show on your computer to enjoy for years to come and
spending
$30 on ****pping to receive $3000 in karaoke CDG's converted to a DVD for
PC
