Breeding Bettas is not cruel. Fighting them..thats a different story. I
personally have not bred them. I do have a male. He lives in a 6 gallon
eclipse
tank. Where I got him had him in a plastic container not big enough for
him to
turnaround. I wouldn't keep one in those little bowls.
